Listening in English is easy for me and working in a shared office means lots of opportunities to put on the headphones and tune out all distracting noises! Listening in English is not so easy for my international students, so I think encouraging them to subscribe to some podcasts (esp. in Science – their area of interest) would be a really good way for them to practise. I found some interesting science podcasts:
the naked scientists
sleek geek radio
And I found a cool one for me to catch (since I get to work too early to listen to the radio broadcast), on radio national.
